The office is on the Mercy Hospital campus, in the Mercy Medical Arts building, between Coconut Grove and Brickell on the bay side of South Miami Avenue. The treatment rooms look out over Biscayne Bay.
Getting here
Enter the Mercy Hospital campus from South Miami Avenue and follow the drive toward the hospital. Once you reach the hospital, turn right; ours is the brown building with the large dark windows on the right. Parking is below the building, valet or self-parking, with an attendant to point you to a space. Take the elevator to the third floor; Suite 305 is to the right of the elevator. Our patient coordinator will greet you.
From Coconut Grove: north on South Bayshore Drive, which becomes South Miami Avenue; the campus entrance is on the right, a few minutes from the village center.
From Brickell: south on Brickell Avenue, which becomes South Miami Avenue past the Rickenbacker Causeway; the campus entrance is on the left, just past Vizcaya.
From Coral Gables: east toward the bay on any of the main east-west streets to South Miami Avenue, then north or south to the campus depending on where you join it; most routes take ten to fifteen minutes outside rush hour.
From Key Biscayne: over the Rickenbacker Causeway, left onto South Miami Avenue, and the campus entrance is a short distance on the left.
Put “Vizcaya Dental Arts” or “Mercy Hospital, Miami” into your map app and it will bring you to the campus entrance; the building is the one described above.

Is there parking?
Yes, below the building, with both valet and self-parking available at about the same price. A parking attendant can point you to a space. Take the elevator to the third floor; Suite 305 is to the right.
Can I text the office?
Yes. Many patients prefer to text (305) 568-8899 to ask a question or request an appointment, and we reply during office hours.
What if I have an emergency when the office is closed?
If you are a patient of the practice, call the office number; the message explains how to reach the doctor for a genuine emergency. New patients with an urgent problem outside our hours should seek urgent care, then call us when we open. Our emergency care page explains what to do in the meantime.
Which languages are spoken?
English and Spanish throughout the office. Dr. Kottar also speaks Italian, and Dr. Hong speaks Mandarin.
