Insurance & Finances

Dr. Kottar discussing dental insurance coverage, payment plans and CareCredit financing with patient

How much does dental treatment cost?

The cost of dental treatment depends on each patient's individual needs. At Vizcaya Dental Arts, we take pride in being very conservative with our treatment recommendations, and we only recommend what is necessary.

We will always give your our honest assessment and treatment plan. Our patients frequently comment on how our treatment recommendations are less invasive and in turn less costly than what others have told them.

Whether you are looking for a complete full-mouth rehabilitation or you would like to focus on one single tooth, we will always take the same approach and go over different treatment options and give you an estimate. Come in today and see how we are different from others and why our patients love us!

Do you take my dental insurance?

If you have a PPO dental insurance plan, we can work with your plan to help you with the cost of care. These are some of the dental insurance plans with which we participate (in-network):

  • Aetna (PPO II, FEDVIP & FEHBP plans only)
  • Ameritas
  • Anthem
  • Blue Cross/Blue Shield (from most states)
  • Cigna (most DPPO plans)
  • Guardian
  • MetLife- PDP Plus & FEDVIP plans only
  • Reliance
  • Sunlife/DHA
  • United Concordia
  • Over 50 other plans

What if my insurance is not on the list?

Give us a call! Many smaller insurance companies use one of the PPO provider networks listed above, so we are in fact in-network with them as well. If you have an HMO insurance, you may still have out-of-network benefits that can be applied. We are happy to verify your insurance plan and benefits for you so that you have the information to make decisions on your care. Call us or text us at (305) 568-8899 and let us look into it for you!

Do you offer payment plans or financing?

Yes, we do. Depending on the care that you need, you have different options:

Orthodontic braces and Invisalign aligners

For traditional braces and Invisalign aligners, most patients prefer to pay in monthly installments with no interest. The down payment required varies based on the specific treatment selected.

All other types of dental treatment (general dentistry, implants, root canals, cosmetic dentistry, etc.)

Any treatment, no matter how large or small, can be made more affordable through convenient monthly payments. We offer financing through our partners:

  • CareCredit
  • Compassionate Finance

These two companies both offer convenient monthly installments, ranging from 6 to 60 months. Depending on the nature of the treatment necessary and your specific needs, we will provide you with all the information so that you can make a choice that is right for you.
