For all of you that have always been afraid to go to the Dentist…  You haven’t had the good fortune of meeting Dr. Kottar.  He is the most patient, empathetic, skillful, meticulous, understanding, knowledgeable Dentist you’ll meet.  He makes you feel very comfortable and explains the entire process and procedure to you as he goes. Dr. Kottar is trained, educated and experienced in all aspects of dentistry so you would not have to be referred or sent to other offices for various procedures required for your whole dental health.  His office is very clean, sanitary and “state of the art” as far as equipment, diagnostics, materials, etc…  Dr. Kottar also takes care to be sure you are comfortable and pain-free and does not try to rush you out the door.  Whether you have a Dentist that you visit occasionally, or only when you have an emergency… or you are the type that has to be dragged in “kicking and screaming”, you will not find a better practitioner that will make the experience a life-changer – when it comes to the thought of any future dental work in your life.   The best part…  He personally reached out – AFTER office hours, on his own time, to see how I was doing and be sure I was comfortable and satisfied with my experience.  (He is also a native Spanish-speaker).

Like a lot of people, visiting a dentist is definitely not one of my favorite activities. Unfortunately, I don’t have the best teeth and I’ve had plenty of dental work done over the years by many different dentists. Some are good, some are ok, and a couple were sadly disastrous.  It’s never easy to find a new dentist for me but boy am I glad to have found Dr. Kottar and his beautiful, brand-new and spotless office at Vizcaya Dental Arts!!
He’s super nice and very, VERY knowledgeable. You can tell almost immediately that he really knows what he’s doing (that is seriously so important!! Trust me, I am a frequent flyer in the dental patient chair!😅) and that he really cares about the quality of his work. I also appreciate that he is very honest and took his time to explain everything to me and answered all my questions. Given my previous bad experiences, it’s very easy for me to get nervous and anxious at a dental office, but Dr. Kottar naturally put me at ease. He also offers nitrous gas to help patients with dental anxiety like me, which is great because I can certainly use it! I feel so fortunate that I’ve found a great doctor. I am very comfortable letting Dr. Kottar take care of my teeth and look forward to totally improving (and maintaining!!) my smile! Highly recommend 👍🏻👍🏻 👍🏻

I had a great experience with Dr. Kottar. I was recommended by a friend and I am glad I have found here. He explains things very well, I learned a lot on how to take care of my teeth so it does not cause problems in the future. I liked his approach on taking care of things naturally as much as possible. Dr. Kottar and his assistant was very gentle taking care of my teeth and I was comfortable during my visit there. I definitely recommend.
