Dr. Flavio A. Kottar is a Miami-based cosmetic, restorative, and implant dentist and a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), a distinction held by a small percentage of general dentists nationwide. He earned his dental degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, graduating at the top of his class, then pursued advanced training through hospital- and university-based programs, including a residency at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies (CAGS) from Boston University’s Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Kottar’s clinical focus includes aesthetic dentistry, implant dentistry, complex reconstructive care, endodontic techniques, oral rehabilitation, and full-mouth rehabilitation, often allowing patients to receive comprehensive care under one roof. Known for a conservative, human approach, he prioritizes what’s right for each patient and builds long-term relationships through honesty, transparency, and meticulous attention to detail.
Dentistry is also a family tradition for Dr. Kottar, inspired by generations of dentists before him, which helped shape his passion for clinical excellence and precision. He is fluent in Spanish and Italian.
